¡Hello Hive community!

This week went on forever and one of these days my brother and his partner came up with the idea that we could spend the day in Chascomús. The boys some time ago had gotten into a plan to buy a car and very recently they finally got it so they had all the excitement and wanted to debut it with a little trip.

Chascomús is a town on the outskirts of the city of Buenos Aires that stands out for its lagoon. A huge lagoon that is 30 km in diameter. In its beginnings it was the historical center of an old and ancient estancia. Over time that ranch had the joy of a train passing through there with the framework of the railroad tracks at the time when the trains came to the provinces so that all the raw materials that the provinces generate reach the city by train.

Years passed and this unknown place began to be known for its large lagoon where fishing enthusiasts, which then generated a word of mouth to make known this lagoon, hence the whole town.

When we arrived at the village, the first thing we did was to go to the lagoon to sit down and stay there enjoying the morning sun and going down for a change after the trip. After five minutes of being there in silence drinking mate, we were already in another tune and began to enjoy the ride. After a while we started to get hungry so we got back in the car to look for a place to eat, but first, we drove around the lagoon, which is beautifully maintained, all paved and perfect for all kinds of passers-by. In those 30 kilometers around we realized that there is a little world around the magic of Chascomús. People who go out to run in groups and alone, groups of cyclists, families and friends who go for a walk, and many cars and motorcycles that go out on weekends to go for a ride and enjoy the beautiful views.

When we finished the tour we headed to get into the streets of the village and go to eat something and then it was when we found a beautiful little chapel, beautiful colonial style and its surroundings were full of orchid flower arrangements, a perfect beautiful grass and flowers of all colors.

We really had an incredible day with a very special surprise. The misfortunes had a secret to tell me. When we were sitting down to eat they told me that I was going to be an uncle. I was thrilled to my feet. I had never even considered the possibility of being an uncle, let alone getting excited like that. So it was an incredible day and now Chascomús will remain in my memory forever.

¡Hola comunidad de Hive!

Esta semana fue eterna y uno de todos estos días mi hermano junto con su compañera se les ocurrió que podíamos ir a pasar el día a Chascomús. Los chicos hace un tiempo se habían metido en un plan para comprar un auto y hace muy poco finalmente lograron tenerlo por lo que tenían toda la emoción y quería estrenarlo con un pequeño viaje.

Chascomús es un pueblo en las afueras de la ciudad de Buenos Aires que se destaca por su Laguna. Una laguna enorme que tiene 30 km de diámetro. En sus inicios era un casco histórico de una vieja y antigua estancia. Con el tiempo esa estancia tuvo la dicha de que un tren pase por allí con el entramado de las vías del tren en la época en donde los trenes llegaban a las provincias para que toda la materia prima que las provincias generan lleguen a la ciudad mediante el tren.

Pasaron los años y ese lugar desconocido se empezó a hacer conocer por su laguna tan grande en donde los aficionados a la pesca, lo que luego generó que un boca en boca haga conocida esta laguna, por ende todo el pueblo.

Cuando llegamos, al pueblo lo primero que hicimos fue ir a la laguna sentarnos y quedarnos disfrutando el sol de la mañana y bajando un cambio después del viaje. A los cinco minutos de estar allí en silencio tomando mate, ya estábamos en otra sintonía y empezamos a disfrutar del paseo. Al rato nos empezó a dar hambre entonces nos volvimos a subir al auto para buscar donde comer pero antes, dimos una vuelta a la laguna que está hermosamente cuidada, toda asfaltada y perfecta para todo tipo de transeúntes. En esos 30 kilómetros de recorrido alrededor nos dimos cuenta que hay un mundillo en torno a la magia del chascomús. Gente que sale a correr en grupo y solos, pelotones de ciclistas, familias y amigos que salen a caminar, y muchos autos y motos que salen los fines de semana a dar la vuelta y disfrutar de las vistas tan hermosas que tiene.

Cuando terminamos la vuelta encaramos para meternos en las calles del pueblo e ir a comer algo y entonces fue cuando nos encontramos con una pequeña capilla preciosa, del estilo colonial precioso y en sus alrededores estaba lleno de arreglos de flores orquídeas, un pasto perfecto precioso y flores de todos los colores.

La verdad pasamos un día increíble con una sorpresa súper especial. Las desgracias tenían un secreto para contarme. Cuando estábamos sentados comiendo me contaron que voy a ser tio. Me emocione hasta los pies. Nunca tuve presente la posibilidad de ser tío y mucho menos emocionarme así. Así que fue un día increíble y ahora Chascomús va a quedar en mi recuerdo por siempre.
