The evolution of science and discoveries, even though there are many technological advances today that have accelerated scientific analysis, still these glass implements persist, so fragile yet so strong at the same time.

Now, why have these glass objects been chosen to conduct so many thousands and millions of experiments? Glass, although fragile, has served to cement scientific advances for a long time.

Glass is inert, meaning it doesn't react with almost anything used in science to conduct experiments, from acids to bases, etc. It not only allows these components to be stored, but also allows for various chemical reactions. Its transparency allows for observing the changes that occur in these reactions.

Thus, this image, which looks like a work of art and depicts three of the most commonly used experimental implements, pays homage to the glass that enables scientific advancements, enabling us to create medicines that heal us, new foods that nourish us, or discover new materials, or whatever human imagination and knowledge allow.

La evolución de la ciencia y los descubrimientos aun cuando en la actualidad hay muchos avances tecnológicos que han hecho que los análisis científicos se hallan acelerado, sin embargo aun persiste estos implementos de cristal, tal frágiles pero tan fuertes a su vez.

Ahora por que estos artículos de vidrio han sido elegidos para hacer tantos miles y millones de experimentos, que tiene el vidrio que aun cuando es frágil, a servido para cimentar los avances de la ciencia desde hace mucho tiempo.

El vidrio al ser inerte, es decir, que no reacciona con casi ninguna cosa de la que la ciencia usa para hacer los experimentos, desde ácidos, bases, etc. Permite ademas de poder almacenar estos componentes, también permite hacer las distintas reacciones químicas, ademas que su transparencia, permite observar los cambios que se producen en estas reacciones.

Es así que esta imagen que se ve como una obra de arte, en donde están 3 de los implementos mas usados para la experimentación, hace un homenaje al vidrio que permite los avances de las ciencias para poder hacer medicinas que nos curan, nuevos alimentos que nos nutran, o encontrar nuevos materiales o lo que la imaginación del hombre y su conocimiento le permita.
