For millennia, many species of animals of various sizes have passed through the land, and on land, the most well-known and largest animals are the dinosaurs, with their very significant and astonishing size and volume.

Although very large animals lived during the age of the dinosaurs, in the present day, the largest animal ever to have lived on land lives in the sea: the blue whale, which surpasses even the largest dinosaurs in size.

Length: It can reach up to 30 meters (98 feet) in length, although the average is around 25-27 meters.

Weight: It can weigh up to 200 tons (approximately 200,000 kg or the equivalent of about 30 elephants).

Heart: Its heart is the size of a small car, and its tongue weighs as much as an elephant.

The photo shows the skull of a blue whale, although it is not one of the largest found of this species and could be the skull of a young whale.

Durante mileneos han pasado a lo largo de ese tiempo muchas especies de animales de diversos tamaños y en tierra los animales mas conocidos y mas voluminosos son los dinosaurios con un tamaño y volumen muy importantes y asombrosos.

Aunque durante la era de los dinosaurios, vivieron animales muy grandes, en la época actual pero en el mar, vive el animal mas grande que a vivido en la tierra, la ballena azul, que supera en tamaño incluso a los dinosaurios más grandes.

Longitud: Puede alcanzar hasta 30 metros (98 pies) de largo, aunque el promedio está alrededor de 25-27 metros.

Peso: Puede pesar hasta 200 toneladas (aproximadamente 200,000 kg o el equivalente a unos 30 elefantes).

Corazón: Su corazón es del tamaño de un automóvil pequeño y su lengua pesa tanto como un elefante.

En la foto se ve el cráneo de una ballena azul aunque no es una de los mas grandes que se puede encontrar de esta especie y podría ser el cráneo de una ballena joven.
