Lions are one of the most powerful animals in the African savannah. They are one of the animals that fear very few animals since they are the ultimate predator and only fear man, who is the greatest destroyer of even his own environment.

In lion society, it can be seen that the roles and functions of the male and female are well defined, where the females are in charge of the children and hunting the animals that they eat, and the males feed on the animals that the females hunt, where they very rarely participate in the hunting days, rather they dedicate themselves to resting all day.

However, their function is fundamental and it is seen why they store so much energy because they are the protectors of the pack, whether it is an individual lion or a group of 2 or more lions that are usually brothers. They protect the pack from other large predators such as hyenas or wolves with their great strength and ferocity, since these are very difficult to eliminate and they are prepared for the fight since their large mane protects a vulnerable area such as the neck, preventing other predators or other lions from grabbing them there, neutralizing their attacks and having to attack them from another place this allows them to counterattack more easily, being for this reason predators and great adversaries feared by other species of animals.

They also take care of the pride of other lions, since if a lion is defeated, all the cubs that are present in that pride are eliminated so that the females go into heat and the new king has his offspring, since the lionesses will not mate with the new lion if he has cubs.

So we see here how this great animal is locked up with all its power, asking for food and there we see how big and majestic it is, so in this zoo the caricuao where the caretakers give food to these lions and their female, we see its great size and power that is contained within this fence.

Los leones son uno de los animales mas poderosos de la sabana africana, es uno de los animales que temen a muy pocos animales ya que son el máximo depredador y solo temen al hombre que es el mayor destructor hasta de su propio medio ambiente.

En la sociedad de los leones se puede ver que los roles y funciones del macho y la hembra esta bien definidas, en donde las hembras se encargan de los hijos y de cazar a los animales que se alimentan y que los machos se alimentan de los animales que casen las hembras donde muy pocas veces participan en las jornadas de caza, mas bien se dedican a descansar todo el día.

Sin embargo su función es fundamental y se ve por que guardan tanta energía por que son los protectores de la manada ya sea un león individual o un grupo de 2 o mas leones que por lo general son hermanos. Estos resguardan a la manad de otros grandes depredadores como las hienas o lobos con su gran fuerza y ferocidad, ya que estos son muy difíciles de eliminar y están preparados para la lucha ya que su gran melena les protege una zona vulnerable como es el cuello, evitando que otros depredadores u otros leones los puedan agarra por allí, neutralizando sus ataque y al tener que atacarlo por otro lugar esto posibilita que puedan contratacar mas fácilmente siendo por esto depredadores y grandes adversarios temidos por otras especies de animales.

Ademas cuidan a la manada de otros leones ya que si un león es derrotado todas las crías que estén presentes en esa manada son eliminados para que las hembras entren en celo y el nuevo rey tenga su descendencia ya que las leonas no se aparearan con el nuevo león si tiene crías.

Asi vemos aquí como este gran animal esta encerrado con todo su poder, pidiendo alimento y allí vemos lo grande y majestosos que es, así en este zoológico el caricuao donde los cuidadores le dan comida a estos leones y su hembra, vemos su gran tamaño y poder que esta contenido en esta reja.
