CCC's Street Art Contest the tree of the 3 roots of freedom / el arbol de las 3 raices de libertad

ENGLISH VERSION

In every country there are always heroes who stand out above others or who are simply better known than others, and although this does not mean that these other personalities were not important to the historical events of the country from which they originate.

Thus, in Venezuela, although there are many lesser-known heroes who made their great contribution to the freedom of Venezuela and greater Colombia, there is no doubt that there are heroes who stand out, and that is why three heroes in Venezuela are the firm foundation on which the idea of freedom and democracy in Venezuela is built.

The mural depicts Simón Rodríguez, Simón Bolívar's mentor and the one who instilled libertarian ideas in this great hero of the nation. As he grew physically and intellectually, he carried out actions to achieve the freedom of Venezuela and the great Colombia from Spain.

Another great hero who should be taken into account was Ezequiel Zamora. Although he has been used by a current of thought that many do not share today, his ideas of struggle were based on Bolívar's thought and were based on his concern about the diversion of libertarian ideas.

The great powers that achieved freedom from Spain were beginning to replace foreign oppression with internal oppression, leading to many injustices for the common people who fought and sacrificed for freedom. They saw how wealth began to accumulate in a few hands, and they saw the broken promises to those soldiers who had no source of income after years of fighting in the independence army. Instead of distributing land to compensate the sacrifices of humble soldiers, Ezequiel Zamora saw the rise of land grabs among former patriots.
Thus, seeing these injustices, this is why his phrase, "land and free men," is well-known in that context where those men who fought for freedom could only be truly free if the country to which they gave their lives and sacrifices rewarded them by giving them a way to earn a living and live with dignity.
Thus, this mural pays tribute to these three men who paved the way to independence, freedom, and justice. I hope you like it. I look forward to your comments and suggestions.

Excellent photography, Giorgo. You see, this week I took a photograph of the Ávila on Panteón Avenue, and by chance, a mural was captured in the photo. It was divided, and I didn't know whether to put it in this community or the one where I ended up putting it. I hope to get a mural when I go to university and share it here. Best regards.
