CCC's Street Art Contest Minor baseball's tribute to Juan Pulido / homenaje del beisbol menor a juan pulido

ENGLISH VERSION
Baseball is one of the most practiced sports and in which Venezuela is most recognized for being a protagonist in that sport, highlighting many figures who have gone to major league baseball having a great career and standing out in their respective teams.

This is why Venezuela has many academies and stadiums for teaching this sport. This mural is located at the Juan Pulido La Planicie 1 minor baseball stadium, located on Campo la Planicie, on Museo Militar Street.
This stadium is in honor of Juan Carlos Pulido Valera, one of the most outstanding left-handed pitchers in the history of Venezuelan baseball, nicknamed "The Lion Tamer."
He was a Venezuelan baseball player who played as a left-handed pitcher, including a season with the Minnesota Twins in the Major Leagues. He is a legend of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP), especially with the Navegantes del Magallanes. He is the left-handed pitcher with the most wins in the history of the LVBP (72 wins) and won the Pitcher of the Year award in the 1993-94 season.
He earned the nickname "The Lion Tamer" for his dominance on the mound against Magallanes' historic rival, the Caracas Lions.
This mural depicts this player, the sun reflecting the brilliance of his career, and the brilliance of the young players who will develop at this stadium. Below is a representation of Avila, although this part of the mural is deteriorating.
I hope you like it. I look forward to your comments and suggestions.

It's always a pleasure to look for those hidden works of art in the streets of Caracas. I have several photos saved for several months.
Nice mural with this tribute to this player. I don't know much about this sport, I'm more into soccer myself 😀 Thanks for sharing these pics on The StreetArt Community.
Enjoy your day
!PIZZA
It is an interesting sport that is more followed in the Caribbean. It has only been recently that attempts have been made in recent years to organize a World Cup similar to FIFA but in baseball, but the restrictions imposed by the stars regarding permitted throws and other measures have hindered further momentum.
Oh yes, a baseball World Cup would have been interesting. Although Canada's chances would have been slim, unlike in hockey. Every country has its favorite sport.
Have a great Friday
