Para mí era desconocida esta efeméride, tratándose de uno de los inventos más innovadores de hace casi 2 siglos, como lo es el primer dispositivo para hacer fotografías: el daguerrotipo.

Cabe destacar, que este visionario tuvo como antecedente los experimentos realizados por Joseph Nicéphore Niépce en 1826, quien desarrolló la técnica de la heliografía, la misma consistía en reproducir de manera espontánea con la interacción de la luz y las tintas en gradación entre negro y blanco, a la imagen objeto de la fotografía.
