Report from Planet GRN-309

(Edited)

The initial observations proved somewhat more concerning than expected.

Sector 01.
The surface is predominantly covered by water. Weather conditions are stable: light winds, high humidity, no cloud cover. Numerous rock formations have been detected in the coastal zone, covered by a dense layer of unidentified organic matter. The substance undulates with the movement of the water, slowly changing shape and contours.

Sector 02.
Clusters of objects of unusual morphology have been observed in the area. Some resemble the remains of large organisms. One formation appears to be a fish preserved in rock strata. Several additional objects display similar characteristics. Random coincidence cannot yet be ruled out.

Sector 03.
No living organisms have been visually detected. However, the area does not appear lifeless. The organic covering continues to spread across the rock surfaces, while the water constantly reshapes the surrounding terrain. Certain areas suggest traces of a long-extinct ecosystem. We may be observing the aftermath of events that occurred here long before our arrival.

Sector 04.
Further observations indicate that rock formations occur throughout the surveyed area. Some are partially submerged; others protrude above the surface, forming small islets. Under changing light conditions, their outlines become particularly difficult to distinguish, significantly complicating classification.

Summary.
Local meteorological conditions remain favorable. However, the planet appears to have something to hide. Premature conclusions regarding the origin of the observed objects are discouraged. Crew landing is to be postponed pending further data.

Great photos! When I saw the first one, I didn't realize it was a rock formation. It looks spectacular. Best regards, and good luck in the contest.
