My Blog: about the Past and the Future
(Edited)

Well, it’s been almost four years since my last post and eight years (to the day!) since I registered on the Hive blockchain. That’s quite a stretch! Time flies, and I’ve decided to return to my blog. Life and travels in stories and pictures. There won’t be many stories, to be honest, but there will be plenty of new pictures. So, for those who are new here, below are a few links to my old posts, and after that, a glimpse of what’s coming next.
Travels to natural landmarks around the world for the Worldmappin community:
Journeys to places of historical significance:
Pictures from late-night walks through city streets:
Photos for the Photofeed and the Photography Lovers communities:
Photos for the Black and White community:
Over the past four years, my photo collection from Spain, Greece, Portugal, Vietnam, Cyprus, and Russia has expanded to include new shots from my trips to Turkey, Serbia, Bosnia, and Montenegro. The Balkan countries turned out to be incredibly warm and soulful, with countless historical and natural landmarks, charming little towns, and great food. Here are a few pictures.
Golubac Fortress on the Danube River, Serbia:

A house in Subotica, Serbia:

A courtyard in Sombor, Serbia:

Višegrad, Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina:

Konjic, Bosnia and Herzegovina:

Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina:

Bay of Kotor, Montenegro:

Durmitor National Park, Montenegro:

Prokletije National Park, Montenegro:

That’s it for now, thanks for stopping by!

Wow, that was quite a break! Glad to see you back. There are not many old-timers still around!
Looking forward to see what you have for us. A big trip around Balkans is for years in my to do list :)
Thank you, Stefanos! The Balkans are beautiful and full of wonder, but my heart will always belong to Greece. 😌
All of a sudden. 🎈
Just like last time 🙂
