Infinite Horizons
(Edited)
There are seas, and then there is the ocean — and its landscapes impress with their sheer scale. Compared to the Mediterranean, the Atlantic feels like a different planet. There are no intimate shores here: even when it looks calm, the ocean exudes power.

The waves are heavier and steeper. I'm not even at the famous surf spots known for massive swells yet. But even watching a regular two-meter wave roll toward the shore makes you feel like a grain of sand.

The Atlantic offers wild, unique landscapes where the horizon stretches so far that the boundary between water and sky almost disappears.

In this stark minimalism, even giants get lost: container ships and tankers look surprisingly small against the vast surface. Try to spot the tiny white ship in the photo above.

But the ocean becomes especially striking at dusk. Clouds and light shift constantly, making every sunset unique. You rarely see this kind of variety in calmer seas.

The ocean is not about details.
It is about scale — and above all, infinite horizons.
