A Different Kind of Horizon

Sometimes it feels like clouds are something out of reach — high above our heads. And then you realize that all it takes is getting into a car and following a beautiful mountain road — and suddenly you're above them.

That's probably one of the reasons why I love Tenerife so much and keep coming back to these photos from the island.

You don't have to be a climber to see a real ocean of clouds — you just need to go a little higher. And the familiar horizon is replaced by an endless white sea stretching out in front of you.

You stop at a viewpoint, step out into the fresh mountain air, and simply watch the clouds slowly drift far below.

Awesome work on the daily Ecency leaderboard quest, @alexanderfluke! A beautiful reminder that breathtaking views are often just a scenic drive away.
