Thermal makeup
Good evening, friends.
Today I felt like doing some artistic makeup, and there was one look in particular that I always wanted to try but was honestly afraid to attempt because I thought it would be very difficult, even though it looked simple. And it was quite complicated, because today my makeup is inspired by heat maps, which are mostly represented by colors like red, orange, blue, and green. Achieving a clean gradient using body paints can sometimes be a headache, and it was very difficult for me to do, especially with the yellow color. Even so, I feel that it turned out quite well, and the whole process was very entertaining. This time, I only did it on my face because I didn't even know if I was going to be able to do it or not, haha. Luckily, everything turned out well. I hope you like it.
To start this makeup look, I had to seal my eyebrows so I could paint over them more comfortably, so I applied five layers of glue stick and sealed them with translucent powder. Then I started to apply makeup to my face with the lightest color, which in this case was yellow. I tried to blend it with my fingers, but it looked ugly with texture, so I took my beauty blender and improved the texture. However, the beauty blender left traces of paint in certain areas, so I had to apply quite a lot of paint. Then I took some light green paint and tried to blend it with the yellow, but it was very difficult. The beauty blender really wasn't helping. I tried with a brush, but that didn't work either. I decided to continue with the beauty blender, and this time I didn't try too hard because I thought I would give it a better finish later. Then I applied some light blue Paint.
After applying these three base colors, I began to seal everything with cornstarch, as it seals body paint better than translucent powder. On top of that, I began to apply yellow, green, and blue eye shadow to intensify the colors and also to blend them together better. Then I took red eyeshadow and applied it to my forehead, the center of my nose, under my eyes, and my chin, blending everything very well.
I also added a little orange to better transition from red to yellow. Finally, I added eye makeup using red, blue, and black eyeliner. I also painted my lips, outlining them in blue and filling them in with red. I painted my eyebrows and put mascara.
I simply love this!! And I am not even into make up at all, but I know the appreciate cool stuff!
