Hoy me animé a hacer un maquillaje artístico un poco difícil, esta vez quise realizar una especie de catrina en la mitad del rostro y del otro lado un look un poco más sencillo, pero manteniendo la forma de catrina igualmente. Me tomo bastante tiempo lograr terminarlo, pero valió totalmente la pena ya que quedo muy bonito. Sinceramente mi mayor miedo para este maquillaje eran las rosas pero logre hacerlas de la manera que quería usando pinceles de pintura finos y jugando con la presión de ellos. Espero que les guste.
Good evening, friends. Today I decided to try a somewhat difficult artistic makeup look. This time, I wanted to create a sort of catrina on one half of my face and a slightly simpler look on the other side, but still maintaining the catrina shape. It took me quite a while to complete, but it was totally worth it because it turned out so beautiful. Honestly, my biggest fear for this makeup was the roses, but I managed to get them just the way I wanted using fine paint brushes and playing with the pressure. I hope you like it.
Para comenzar este maquillaje aplique pegamento en barra en mi ceja derecha que es donde iba a pintar la catrina, mientras que en el lado izquierdo maquille mi ceja normalmente y rellene el parpado con corrector. Luego comencé a realizar un smoky eye en el ojo izquierdo usando sombra de ojos negra, luego en el lado derecho hice el boceto con lápiz blanco de la forma de calavera, procedí a rellenar con pintura blanca todo el lado izquierdo y en el lado derecho aplique base y selle con polvo traslucido.
To start this makeup, I applied a glue stick to my right eyebrow, which is where I was going to paint the catrina. On the left side, I applied my eyebrow makeup normally and filled in my eyelid with concealer. Then, I started creating a smoky eye on my left eye using black eyeshadow. On the right side, I sketched the skull shape with a white pencil. I then filled in the entire left side with white paint. On the right side, I applied foundation and sealed it with translucent powder.
Continuando con el lado izquierdo empecé a realizar las formas de catrina pintando la nariz, pómulos y dibujando diferentes figuras con negro y rojo. En el lado derecho empecé a detallar la forma de la calavera agregando sombra de ojos color hueso en algunas partes creando manchas que, hacia lucir esta textura un poco más realista, pinte la cuenca de los ojos con negro en la parte superior y en la parte inferior use sombra marrón, agregue tambien pintura negra en el borde del rostro en la parte de la calavera para darle una mejor forma a la silueta. Comencé a pintar las rosas en ambos lados del rostro haciendo figuras en forma de espiral, pero sin seguir un orden para que lograra verse como una rosa, luego pinte las hojas con pintura verde y continue detallando la boca pintando los dientes del lado derecho y líneas en el lado izquierdo. Finalice aplicando mascara de pestañas.
Continuing with the left side, I began to create the catrina shapes by painting the nose, cheekbones, and drawing different shapes with black and red. On the right side, I began to detail the shape of the skull, adding bone-colored eyeshadow in some areas, creating spots that made the texture look a little more realistic. I painted the eye sockets with black on the top and brown shadow on the bottom. I also added black paint to the edges of the face, where the skull appeared, to give the silhouette a better shape. I began painting the roses on both sides of the face, making spiral-shaped figures, but without following any order so that it would look like a rose. Then I painted the leaves with green paint and continued detailing the mouth, painting the teeth on the right side and lines on the left side. I finished by applying mascara.
