Monomad - White gill mushroom (Resinomycena)

This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge

At around 16.50 yesterday I had time to hunt for mushrooms, this is because after the dry season which has been going on for quite a long time recently it started to rain but not enough to wet all the locations that have the potential to grow mushrooms, so I couldn't find many species of mushrooms yesterday.

But luckily, I could still find the Resinomycena fungus, a fungus in the Mycenaceae family that often grows on small twigs or rotten palm fronds. This white, slightly brownish mushroom is a type of mushroom that is quite easy to grow even though the conditions in which it grows are not frequently exposed to rain. And I have uploaded some of the photos below:

I have definitely never seen anything like this! I think the black and white tone gives a greater level of detail to this making it very striking to look at.

The world has so many interesting things and it's a great opportunity to capture them through a camera to learn from them.
