Monomad - Some interesting insects
This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge
On today's monomad challenge I want to share some photos of interesting insect species that I managed to photograph a few days ago. The first is a type of tortoise beetle, or better known as the golden tortoise beetle. It is a type of leaf-eating beetle with the scientific name Charidotella sexpunctata..
The second is a type of biting fly, flies in the Tabanus genus are somewhat different from flies in general which prefer stale food, whereas this fly prefers blood, especially liking to suck cow's blood.
And finally there is a beautiful little moth species with a brownish color, I found this moth resting on a wild plant leaf. This moth itself was detected with the Latin name Zanclognatha cruralis.
