Monomad - Schizophyllum commune

This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge

On today's Monomad challenge, I want to share some beautiful and interesting mushroom photos again. The mushroom I mean is the gerigit mushroom (Indonesia), while in certain regions this mushroom has its own special name, for example in Aceh, this mushroom is known as "kulat geulungku". Meanwhile scientifically this fungus is called Schizophyllum commune, which is a fungus in the Schizophyllaceae family.

What's more interesting is that the mushroom I found growing on the palm frond is one of the edible mushrooms. I myself have eaten it quite often when I was little because my grandmother often cooked it as a side dish at lunch. And I have uploaded some photos of the mushrooms I mean below.

The type of mushroom you found is very interesting,I like its gills,if you pay attention,the gills are very unique.
