Monomad - Rice Grasshopper (Oxya japonica)

This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge

On today's post, I want to share some interesting macro photos of insects, specifically some photos of grasshoppers mating and also eating leaves. I took to capture several photos of these grasshoppers this afternoon at around 17.08 in the bushy area on the edge of the rice fields.

The grasshopper I mean is a small grasshopper with the scientific name Oxya japonica, This grasshopper is also known as the rice grasshopper, or also the grasshopper with short horns from the Acrididae family. And I have uploaded some photos of the grasshoppers I am referring to below:
