Monomad - Long Snout Beetle

This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge

This morning I went hunting for insects again in the bushy area along the riverbank, and luckily I was still able to find several interesting insect species there. And one of them I want to share in today's post is a long-nosed beetle which is a species of weevil with the scientific name Curculio nucum.

This beetle has a distinctive characteristic in the form of a long snout that resembles an elephant's trunk, besides that it also has two antennae which are also located on the snout. Apart from that, this beetle has 4 main legs, but on the front legs there are branch legs which make this beetle have six legs. And I have uploaded some of my long-nosed beetle shots below, hopefully you will like one of them :)
