Monomad - Giant leaf-footed bug & Longhorn beetle
This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge
On today's monomad challenge, I want to share some interesting insect photos that I managed to photograph this morning at around 9:30 a.m. There are two species of insects that I will share, the first is a type of stink bug from the Coreidae family.
Stink bugs are a type of sucking insect that is characterized by its grayish brown color and spines on its shoulders. In addition, the hind legs are larger than the front legs so that the hind legs appear wider. And among other types of stink bugs, the type I am sharing is larger in size, so it is known as the giant leaf-footed bug, Or scientifically identified as Acanthocephala declivis.
Then for the second insect, there is a beetle with long horns identified as Hesperophanes sericeus, namely a beetle from the Cerambycidae family. Characteristically, this beetle has long horns with a dominant brown color. And some photos of this longhorn beetle I have uploaded below.
