On this post I want to share some interesting macro photos that I found yesterday in the bush area on the edge of the rice fields. The photo objects themselves are two beautiful species of skipper butterflies.

The first species is a dark brown skipper butterfly, or scientifically named Borbo cinnara, a butterfly from the Hesperiidae family known by several nicknames such as "rice swift, Formosan swift or rice leaf folder".

The physical characteristics of this butterfly are that it has a short and fat body compared to other types of butterflies, in terms of color, this butterfly also does not have many patterns, the color is only predominantly brown.

Another fact is that this butterfly has a higher level of agility or is more aggressive than other types of butterflies, skipper butterflies are actually very adept at maneuvering in the air.

Apart from being dark brown, skipper butterflies also have several species or color variants. Like the skipper butterfly that I have uploaded below with a dark yellow color and a smaller size than the skipper butterfly above.
