Macro Photography - Crickets, Butterflies and Mushrooms / Grillos, Mariposas y Setas
Yesterday I again took the time to hunt insects in the forest. And as usual I will share the results of hunting insect photos here and in several other communities. And while hunting yesterday I managed to get several species of insects, two of which I will share in this post.
In the first photo is Tettigoniidae, or these insects are often referred to as bush crickets or long-horned crickets. The Tettigoniidae that I found this time were still young. This can be seen in the wings which still do not cover the belly of this cricket. Besides that, the size of the Tettigoniidae that I found was still small. Adult Tettigoniidae can be much larger than the one I photographed.
Then there is a species of skipper butterflies with the scientific name Potanthus omaha which is perched on a leaf. Potanthus omaha has a predominantly yellow color with several black stripes and its eyes are brownish black.
Then there is also an assassin bug with the scientific name Zelus longipes. This insect from Reduviidae has a dominant color of yellow, both of its antennae are a combination of yellow and black. While on the legs there is also a bit of black, then the wings are brown.
Not only insects, I also found the Bjerkandera adusta mushroom growing on dead logs at hunting locations. And I've uploaded two photos of the mushrooms I'm referring to below.

Stunning photos! I really like how the details of these animals and the leaves can be appreciated. The water droplets are a fantastic addition. Great job 👍🏻
