Insect Macrophotography - Three species of Southeast Asian grasshoppers
Grasshopper are indeed widespread in parts of the world, even their presence in some areas can disturb residents. Especially for farmers. Various species of grasshoppers are also found in Southeast Asia, such as in Indonesia, for example, grasshoppers can also grow and develop properly. Moreover, supported by alasm which provides fresh grass as food for the grasshoppers. Therefore the presence of locusts in Indonesia rarely bothers farmers.
And a few days ago when I was in the bush I managed to capture some photos of grasshopper species. Some photos of grasshoppers are what I want to share in this post. In the first photo there is the Steamed grasshopper (Atractomorpha), a grasshopper from the Pyrgomorphidae family which is widespread in Africa, Australia and Asia.
Then there is the Chorthippus apricarius grasshopper, this brown-eyed grasshopper comes from the Acrididae family.
And the last photo is a grasshopper that is still closely related to the grasshopper above. Because the grasshopper Chorthippus albomarginatus is also still from the Acrididae family. Here are some photos:
