This is my contribution to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw

On today's edition of FungiFriday September 19, 2025, I have prepared three interesting mushroom species to share here. The first mushroom is a mushroom known as the ear mushroom, or scientifically called Auricularia auricula-judae. The physical characteristics of this mushroom are that it has an ear-like shape with a reddish brown color, for its texture, this mushroom has a jelly-like texture and is also one of the edible mushroom species.

Then the second mushroom is a mushroom that likes to grow on large dead tree trunks, its physical shape is round or like a cake, in fact this mushroom is known by the unique name "King Alfred's cake" or scientifically called Daldinia concentrica.

Then for the last gill fungus, I had difficulty identifying it, but I believe that these fungi are still part of the Lichenomphalia umbellifera fungus. And some photos of this beautiful gill fungus I have uploaded below.
