This is my contribution to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw

This afternoon I was looking for mushrooms to share on FungiFriday today, but my efforts were somewhat imperfect. Although I also did not go home empty-handed, I managed to photograph two types of mushrooms from the genus Polyporus.

Even so, I still feel lacking, doesn't mean I'm not grateful either. And there is something interesting about this mushroom that I found. Then what's interesting? That is the beetle that I have met several times like to play on the mushroom. :) I don't know what this beetle means it likes to be there? but what is clear is that I have found the beetle more than once in the area where the mushroom is growing.

Apart from beetles, I also found a small grasshopper there. And this is the first time I've come across that. Maybe the grasshopper just stopped by to take shelter for a while. :)

Then at a different location I also found other mushrooms, even though they came from the same family as the mushrooms above, but these mushrooms grew regularly until they filled the rotting wood. And even some of them have started to wither.

That beetle might be Diaperis boleti which feeds on mushroom-eating larvae of other insects.
