FungiFriday - Dacrymyces spathularia & Pycnoporus sanguineus

This is my contribution to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw
On today's edition of FungiFriday, September 12, 2025, I want to share some beautiful mushroom photos again. There are two mushroom species that I have prepared. The first mushroom is a beautiful small mushroom with an attractive color, namely bright yellow.
The fungus I mean is a fungus that was detected with the scientific name Dacrymyces spathularia, namely a fungus in the Dacrymycetes class of the from Dacrymycetaceae family. The characteristics of this mushroom are that it is yellow in color with a small, spatula-shaped size, besides that it also has a jelly-like texture and grows on rotten wood and another interesting fact is that this mushroom is one of the edible mushroom species.

Then the second mushroom is no less interesting, namely the mushroom with an orange-red color which also generally grows on dead wood or rotten wood. This mushroom is also a type of mushroom that can survive for a long time, even in the summer, sometimes the mushroom can still survive.
Unlike the jelly mushrooms above, the detected mushroom named Pycnoporus sanguineus, actually has a hard texture of mushroom. Because of its hard texture, I think this mushroom is not suitable for eating, besides, this mushroom is also a type of mushroom that should not be eaten :)
