Hi Guys...

Hoy les estaré contando un poco más de mi viaje por la carretera transandina con amigos, mi hermana y el motero Colombiano. Este viene siendo la Parte II de mi post anterior, si no lo vieron les invito a visitar mi blog, para que conozcan un poco más de que va.

Continuando con la historia, quiero contarles de uno de los lugares que en este viaje dejo en mi corazón una huella, fue una experiencia que me hizo muy feliz, y fue el hospedarnos en el Observatorio Astronómico Nacional de Llano del Hato, comúnmente referido como el Astrofísico de Mérida. Un sitio realmente espectacular. Allí:

Continuing with the story, I want to tell you about one of the places that in this trip left a mark in my heart, it was an experience that made me very happy, and it was staying at the National Astronomical Observatory of Llano del Hato, commonly referred to as the Astrophysical of Merida. A truly spectacular place. There:

• Comimos delicioso.
• Recorrimos las instalaciones (sus vistas son increíbles).
• Nos dieron una charla acerca de la historia del lugar.
• Vimos un documental acerca del Universo Observable y los últimos descubrimientos.
• Pudimos observar y recorrer los espacios donde están los telescopios.
• Lo más increíble fue lograr observar la luna y varios planetas a través del telescopio, (esto ocurrió entre las 2 y las 4 de la madrugada), ya que en el momento del recorrido que fue a las 8 pm, el cielo se encontraba totalmente nublado y nos despertaron a esa hora para no perdernos el espectáculo. Y les juro que nunca estuve tan feliz porque me despertaran a esas horas jaja.

• We ate delicious food.
• We toured the facilities (the views are incredible).
• We were given a talk about the history of the place.
• We watched a documentary about the Observable Universe and the latest discoveries.
• We were able to observe and tour the spaces where the telescopes are located.
• The most incredible thing was to observe the moon and several planets through the telescope, (this happened between 2 and 4 am), since at the time of the tour, which was at 8 pm, the sky was totally cloudy and they woke us up at that time so as not to miss the show. And I swear I was never so happy to be woken up at that time haha.

🧳Para quien quiera vivirlo también: "For those who want to live it too:"

Lo bonito de este lugar es que cualquier persona puede visitarlo si tiene los medios para llegar, ya que el acceso puede ser un poco complicado. Sin embargo, el hospedaje y la comida, al pertenecer al gobierno, son bastante accesibles.

The beauty of this place is that anyone can visit it if they have the means to get there, since access can be a bit complicated. However, the lodging and food, since it belongs to the government, are quite accessible.

Eso sí, si algún día van, les recomiendo llevar buena ropa de abrigo. La noche que estuvimos allá, la temperatura bajó a 3 °C, algo bastante inusual para quienes venimos de zonas cálidas como el llano. En mi caso, el cambio me afectó un poco, ya que no me fui del todo preparada y terminé con dolor de cabeza, pero, aun así, valió totalmente la pena.

However, if you ever go there, I recommend you to bring warm clothes. The night we were there, the temperature dropped to 3 °C, something quite unusual for those of us who come from warm areas like the plains. In my case, the change affected me a little, as I was not fully prepared and ended up with a headache, but, even so, it was totally worth it.

😎Un poco más sobre el viaje: "A little more about the trip:"

También fuimos a las Aguas termales de La Musui, al llegar al lugar puedes caminar, o puedes pagar para que puedas subir en caballo, lo cual si no tienes condición física adecuada (como yo en ese momento) jeje les recomiendo esa opción.

We also went to the hot springs of La Musui, when you get to the place you can walk, or you can pay to go up on horseback, which if you do not have adequate physical condition (like me at that time) hehe I recommend that option.

La caminata es de mediana duración, pero el camino y la llegada te lo recompensa, puedes relajarte en las aguas mientras observas el paisaje andino.

The hike is of medium duration, but the walk and the arrival reward you, you can relax in the waters while observing the Andean landscape.

Nota: Allí también puedes acampar, te proporcionan el equipo y la guiatura, por si eres de los más aventureros, y eres resistente a las bajas temperaturas.

Note: You can also camp there, they provide you with equipment and guiding, if you are one of the more adventurous ones, and you are resistant to low temperatures.

Luego en nuestro último día de viaje, llegamos a la ciudad de Mérida/Venezuela y recorrimos lugares, descansamos y allí nos despedimos de nuestro amigo Motero Colombiano, quien iba a dirigirse al Teleférico de Mérida (Sistema de Teleféricos Mukumbarí), la cual es una atracción turística icónica del lugar, ya que es el teleférico más largo y alto del mundo.

Then on our last day of travel, we arrived in the city of Merida/Venezuela and toured places, rested and there we said goodbye to our Colombian biker friend, who was going to go to the Merida Cable Car (Mukumbarí Cable Car System), which is an iconic tourist attraction of the place, as it is the longest and highest cable car in the world.

Por nuestra parte, luego de dejar a nuestro viajero en compañía de otro motero que forma parte de esta comunidad de apoyo, nos paseamos un rato por la Plaza Las Heroínas, para luego retomar el camino de regreso.

For our part, after leaving our traveler in the company of another biker who is part of this support community, we strolled for a while through the Plaza Las Heroínas, and then resumed our way back.

Conocimos a una pareja de viajeros españoles, ya quiero ser ellos al ser abuelita😍, andaban recorriendo Venezuela en su Band, muy amables, nos dijeron que les encantaba Mérida:

We met a couple of Spanish travelers, I already want to be them when I'm a grandmother😍, they were touring Venezuela in their Band, very nice, they told us they loved Merida:
