Visita al "Paseo del Mar" ❤️ [ESP/ENG]

Desde hace un par de años ( 3 aproximadamente)inauguraron un nuevo paseo en Porlamar, Isla de Margarita. Este desde entonces es punto esencial para demostraciones de arte en diferentes presentaciones y punto de reunión para eventos del estado. En ésta oportunidad tuvo lugar una exposición de arte, por varios fotógrafos reconocidos de la isla.

A couple of years ago (approximately 3) they inaugurated a new ride in Porlamar, Margarita Island. Since then, this has been an essential point for art demonstrations in different presentations and a meeting point for state events. On this occasion, an art exhibition took place by several renowned photographers on the island.

La hora de inicio del evento fue a las 5 de la tarde, sin embargo por temas de organización empezó a las 6. Todos los fotógrafos tuvieron oportunidad de presentar sus obras, y hacer un resumen de ellas.

The start time of the event was at 5 in the afternoon, however due to organizational issues it started at 6. All the photographers had the opportunity to present their works, and make a summary of them.

Cada artista, tuvo rasgos diferentes, claro tomando en cuenta la rama o el tipo de fotografía. En este caso teníamos surrealista, arquitectónico, de paisajes y otros...

Each artist could have different traits, of course taking into account the branch or type of photography. In this case we had surreal, architectural, landscapes and others...

En algunas fotografías podemos apreciar las campanas de la Iglesia San Nicolás de Bari, ubicada en Porlamar. Las campanas según lo que pude escuchar son de muy difícil acceso y se encuentran ubicadas en la parte más alta de la iglesia, considero se tiene que tener mucho valor para subir y tocarlas y también para tomar la fotografía. Por cierto, el fotógrafo de ésta toma es mi suegro 😅.

In some photographs we can see the bells of the San Nicolás de Bari Church, located in Porlamar. The bells, according to what I could hear, are very difficult to access and are located in the highest part of the church. I think you have to have a lot of courage to go up and ring them and also to take the photograph. By the way, the photographer of this shot is my father-in-law 😅.

En otra fotografía podemos observar la actividad económica principal de la isla, un noble pescador arreglando su red de pesca.

In another photograph we can see the main economic activity of the island, a noble fisherman mending his fishing net.

Por otro lado podemos observar unas niñas unidas de las manos, está fotografía a cualquier margariteño que la ve capta la referencia a la ronda, escultura ubicada en la plaza de Porlamar, antigua y digna representación del municipio.

On the other hand we can see some girls joined hands, this photograph any Margariteño who sees it catches the reference to the round, sculpture located in the Plaza de Porlamar, ancient and worthy representation of the municipality.

Otro fotógrafo que formó parte en esta presentación, fue uno bastante popular ya que hace referencia a los hidrantes como duendes ocultos, y urbanos...esparcidos por todo el mundo.

Another photographer who took part in this presentation was quite popular since he refers to hydrants as hidden, urban goblins... spread all over the world.

En general, la presentación estuvo súper emotiva,digerible y llena de cultura neoespartano. Así que realmente me gustó mucho estar presente en ella.

Overall, the presentation was super emotional, digestible and full of neo-Spartan culture. So I really liked being present in it.
