Monomad: Wingless Mantis Fighter

This little guy looked shy when I found him in his territory. He is an Asian praying mantis. His wings haven't grown yet, which means he's not yet an adult, so he's having trouble flying, even though I know he wants to do that. It's just waiting for the right time; I believe he will be able to fly like other adult mantises. At that time, he could only move by crawling and jumping in a limited area. Even though he was not yet an adult, he was always alert in any situation around him. And although he was not yet an adult, he had two saws—those weapons ready to tear enemies to shreds if they came to wreak havoc on his territory. That's because he is a true fighter.

This is another entry I submitted for the daily #monomad challenge.
