Monomad: Walnut Mycena

The walnut mycena (Mycena crocea) is another 'wonder' of the abundant mushroom kingdom in the rainforests of Sumatra. The mushroom was yellow before these images were changed to a monochromatic tone. The glowing gills of the mushrooms seem to brighten up the atmosphere of the forest, which was previously stuffy and dark. Getting mushrooms like this always makes me grateful that nature always surprises us with many beautiful things hidden there.

This is another entry I submitted for the daily #monomad challenge.

All these photos are my original work, taken with a Xiaomi POCO NFC smartphone and an assembled external macro lens.
