Monomad: The Little One With the Pouting Mask

In the following, I'd like to share some macro photos taken with a smartphone camera.

Here's a white crab spider that I found this afternoon in a Java plum tree.

His eyes are almost invisible, and his sullen expression reminds me of traditional Japanese samurai masks.

This guy is extremely short and always carries a large backpack on his back. No, that's not a backpack; it's a very huge abdomen.

The crab spider moved slowly but was alert and ready to attack.

Perhaps I am the enemy, he reasoned. Despite the fact that I'm too big to be an opponent, it must be said that this little one is a true daredevil.
