Monomad: Spotted-headed Jumping Spider on Pignut Shrub

This little guy is Phintella bifurcilinea, or the spotted-headed jumping spider. I found it crawling on a pignut shrub (Mesosphaerum suaveolens) one sunny afternoon. It has a fat belly and transparent legs. Those eyes are so adorable. As I approached, the little guy ran and slipped behind the leaves. Maybe the jumper felt threatened and panicked; most jumping spiders behave this way.
