Monomad: Lentil Shanklet

There are many mushrooms that appear during the rainy season. For some reason, I seem to be hooked. I never feel satisfied; I continue to accept invitations from anyone who wants to hunt mushrooms in the forest. For me, a mushroom walk is an exciting activity, although sometimes tiring. I can't count how many kinds of mushrooms I have documented, and I never throw them away. It's because I love them. Yes, it is their beauty that has me hooked!

Today I'm sharing some macro shots of the lentil shanklet (Collybia tuberosa). They form colonies on weathered areca nut bark. They have made the quiet forest seem lively. Maybe not everyone is fascinated by mushrooms; that's because they don't know the secret behind them.

This is another entry I submitted for the daily #monomad challenge.

All of the images here are my own work, taken with a Xiaomi POCO NFC smartphone and an assembled external macro lens.

Really beautiful, I noticed some mushrooms growing in an abandoned wood at the back of my house, they are not as healthy as these ones though. Dope shots...

Beautiful photos, such small mushrooms usually go unnoticed by the ground, but you managed to capture them great!
