Monomad: Leafcutter Bee and Potter Wasp

An evening walk last week led me to meet these cute creatures: leafcutter bees hanging out in the meadow. Some perch by nibbling on grass stems, which is their usual habit.

Meanwhile, a potter wasp was building his little home. It's a simple nest made of clay, consisting of several small chambers. The nest hangs on a small twig. It seemed this guy wasn't alone there, the others probably hadn't come home from collecting clay somewhere. This wasp was a persistent and tenacious worker, that's what I noticed.

This is another entry I submitted for the daily #monomad challenge.
