Monomad: Jewel Beetle and Mysterious Egg Cluster

I feel like finding something that has long been lost. Remembering first when I was a child, I always encountered a jewel beetle (Buprestidae sp.) in my hometown, Pidie Jaya. So when I found this beetle in the shrub some days ago, my childhood memories suddenly reappeared in my mind.

At that time, we often played with a jewel beetle. We would bind it with a thread around the neck and then let it spread its wings to fly. Yes, it can fly only as far as a few meters because it was still bound by a thread.

We did that to have fun without caring whether it hurt this creature. My regret arose when I saw this sweet little one. "I promise I will never hurt you again, buddy!"

Let's leave my childhood memories. I bring you to see the mysterious egg cluster I found in the bushes. I have no idea what these eggs are. Maybe the eggs are insects, beetles, or frogs. There are a lot of eggs, and almost all of them hatch without leaving traces of who has.
