Monomad: Burning Passion

That Sunday afternoon, in the hot weather, I noticed two wasp moths copulating on a twig. They did it silently; only their antennae and wings occasionally fluttered in the gentle breeze.

They were lost in a burning passion. They looked the same; I had no idea which was the male and which was the female.

Not far away, I noticed two other wasp moths, each alone in stillness. I could feel envy in them. They were probably annoyed or upset, but their turn would come, and there would be a male or a female to approach them. They had to be patient.

It’s pleasing to witness that even the smallest creatures live with such intensity and patience.💕
