Monomad: A long journey through barnacle cone craters

As we walked along the shore of Meuraksa Beach that afternoon, I found a piece of fiberglass, apparently from a fishing boat wreck. Barnacles covered it, forming cone-shaped craters that resembled volcanic mountain ranges. What caught my attention was something crawling there. Of course, it wasn't a barnacle crawling, but a tiny hermit crab...and it wasn't alone; there was another one. It seemed they had a long journey.
