FungiFriday: Some Common Mushrooms in A Garden
I haven't been anywhere for the past week. The hot weather lately has made me too lazy to walk too far. I remember it only rained three times in January, and even then, for a short time.
Even so, I was still excited to look for some mushrooms, and that was done near the village. A few days ago, I entered my friend's garden. It was a small, unkempt garden. The bushes looked waist-high. The soil was quite fertile if planted with productive vegetation such as cassava, papaya, or various vegetables.
I noticed some mushrooms growing on the soil mixed with rotting wood dust. They were pale conecap mushrooms belonging to the family Psathyrella; some grew in groups, and some grew alone.
Some almost wilted fairy inkcaps (Coprinellus sp.) were also found there. This is the mushroom with the shortest life span.
I kept searching for other interesting mushrooms. Unfortunately, I didn't find anything besides that one. The scorching heat drove me out of the garden around noon.
