Epeus mohawk | Epeus flavobilineatus

I capture a male Epeus flavobilineatus crawling on a lemon plant in the garden. The male is commonly called the Epeus mohawk because of the distinctive hair on its head. I see all the guys have the same natural hairy head—I won't get that haircut. 😁

Besides the hair, the most obvious differences between the male and female are that the male's face and jaws tend to be dark brown, with some blackish, and the tips of the pedipalps are brown. And of course, the males have longer legs than the females.
