Gökdere Village: Heart of Nature

Hello Travelers,
I discovered an amazing place at the invitation of my sister and her husband. A wonderful picnic area in Gökdere village of İzmir province. This is a place surrounded by high mountains and covered with pine trees. There are centuries-old plane trees around the tiny stream coming from the valleys. People gathered in this flat area, spending time with their families.

When the schools were closed, I came to the city where my family lives. Every summer vacation, my sister and her husband take us to different places. This time, I wanted it to be a different place. They told me about Gökdere village. I said let's go there. Because the high mountains and the winding stream were just for me.

The picnic area was outside the village. We arrived there by passing through the village. I felt peaceful when I heard the sound of water. The wind was carrying the scent of pine at that time.

Gökdere is very similar to the nature of Karaman, the province where I teach. So I can say it was a good day for me.

I plan to visit these places during my vacation. I hope I have good memories to tell about the places I've been to. Goodbye.
