Warm weather is back in Germany for the first time in two weeks. The plants on our micro balcony are gradually getting ready for summer.

This is the Johannis Berry that I planted last month. I was keeping an eye on it to see if it would flower this year, or if it would flower next year since it is the first year, but yesterday I found two fruits 😁 I am looking forward to the Aronia also planted this year, which had flowers. Let's see.

Speaking of fruits this time of year, strawberries (which are actually nuts I heard) are also starting to flower and should bear fruit within a month. It has already been a year since my daughter and I planted them in memory of my mother. Time flies.

The temperature has warmed up and the tomatoes, which were a little too tall, are now able to over night outside. I am not sure if I will plant them once in pots as I will be planting them in about two weeks. I'm going to bring tomatoes and peppers back home from the office tonight.

The bitter melon seeds I planted last week are still waiting to germinate, I hope it does well because I want to plant them in late May and enjoy the fruits over the summer.

Other than that, I planted a pot of Perilla (Shiso) that had grown big enough to share at the local market I have my stand. Red ones are more popular than green ones at the markets where I have my stand.

Lately I feel like drinking at night harm quality of sleep, so I changed to enjoy drinking during weekend lunch time. I bought a bottle of wine with a ladybug label, which may bring me luck on our balcony. It was a good choice. It's delicious. It is going to be my wine of the summer. I paired it with pasta with rape blossoms, I failed to grow but found at an Italian shop.

ドイツにも二週間ぶりに暖かい日が戻ってきています。我が家のマイクロバルコニーの植物たちも少しずつ夏に向けて準備をしています。

これは今年植えたアカフサスグリ（Johannis Berry）です。今年はこれから花が咲くのか、それとも一年目だし花が咲くのは来年なのかと見守っていたら、昨日2つだけ実を見つけました。いつの間に花を作っていたのでしょう。同じく今年植えたアロニアもちょっとだけ実をつけそうで楽しみです。

この時期のフルーツといえばいちご（実はナッツらしいです）も花を咲かせ始めていて、一ヶ月もすれば実がなりそうです。母の思い出にと植えてからもう一年、早いです。

気温が上がって、ちょっと徒長気味のトマトたちも外で夜を越せるようになりました。あと2週間ほどで定植するので、ポットに一度植えるかどうか迷うところです。夜、オフィスに置いているトマトと唐辛子を家に持って帰ってこようと思います。

先週植えたゴーヤは発芽を待つ日が続いています。5月後半には植えたいので、頑張ってほしいところです。

その他は、マーケットでお裾分けするために、大きく育っていた紫蘇をポット植えにしました。私が出店しているマーケットでは青紫蘇よりも赤紫蘇の方が人気があります。

最近は夜に飲むと寝付きが悪くなる気がして、晩酌ならぬ昼酌を楽しんでいます。バルコニーにも幸運を持ってきてくれるかなとてんとう虫のラベルにひかれて買ってきたら、おいしいのなんの。今年のワインになりそうです。菜の花のパスタと合わせました。
