Wildlife and African sunsets

Something about an African sunset surrounded by wildlife and nature. This gorgeous view was captured from the top of a little hill and then a rock where my husband and I scrambled up just before sunset, just in time to see this fabulous sky. I am not, and have never really been the biggest morning person so sunrises are not my thing whereas sunsets are my favourite! I love watching the world go to sleep, especially on a holiday.

We were enjoying the African nature and wildlife at a beautiful holiday resort called Dikhololo, Brits South Africa. If you ever need a time to escape the world and the bustle of work life, find your way to Dikhololo. Wake up to the sound of birds chirping instead of cars. Have your breakfast with the bokkies and watch the zebras roam around.

There were some beautiful birds for us bird-loving photo-takers to admire and capture.

We then discovered my favourite wild animals... on the very last day we were there. Look how beautiful and majestic these Giraffes are. AH, I am in love!!

This little baby just sat so calmly and watched me carefully as I took his portrait photos, we had just stopped the car and walked into the bush a little bit more so that I could get closer and get some cool photos of this baby. (Also as a psa, I do not recommend getting too close to wild animals... they are still wild and just to put your mind at ease, I may have hopped out the car but I was not as close as you'd expect, I do still have a pretty cool zoom lens.)

Theres a cute little giraffe bum to make your day better.

Just admiring some pretty spider art, spider webs are so intricate and delicate. I may not be the biggest spider fan (I do not want them on me or in my space) but I can always admire their weaving and web work.

I felt very sad for this little donkey.
