Deep down inside of every women is a little girl and deep inside of most little girls is a princess fairy trying to escape... dreaming about romance and beauty and magical moments. That Happily Ever After feeling and dreaming of being a princess, saved by a knight in shining armour.

These feelings and moments of love and romance fill my heart whenever there is a gorgeous wedding to celebrate. What is more magical than two people completely in love promising their lives to one another for the rest of their time on earth together?

Recently a gorgeous friend of mine had her wedding day where she promised her forever to her Prince Charming! We celebrated this fairy-friend of mine with a beautiful pink and purple fairy picnic bachelorette.

Tucked deep in a quiet forest, nestled right next to a small flowing stream a group of close girls friends met together with strawberries dipped in chocolate and strawberry mimosas to celebrate our princess bride-to-be.

The day felt so magical and like something straight out of a fairy-tale book that I had to capture some of the finer details of the picnic. All things pink, sparkly and sweet scattered the forest fall and laughter filled the cove we were nestled in.

I wander if you could feel the peace, tranquility and magical feelings that filled the little picnic cove through my photos. The set up and decorations felt so much like a true fairy picnic fit for a beautiful princess bride.

The dress code was, of course, pink and formal dresses fit for a fairy picnic.

There is nothing better than a group of true friends enjoying good sweet treats and games nestled in the middle of nature.

The bride-to-be was given a task, a game of side-and-seek of sorts, the fairy princess had to search to woods and trees to find her wings and wand that had been hidden away.

I want to end this post with a short poem that I found the describes this beautiful fairy bride perfectly.

perhaps the light
that made her beautiful
was not from her eyes,
nor from her smile,
but from the way
that no matter the darkness
that swirled around her,
within her,
she still found the courage to shine.
