Magic by Photo!

Hi my people, I have come to share with you some fun moment I had at a naming ceremony of one of my church members and the beautiful impact of photography. I travelled to my village in the course of the week and my stay extended. So, I couldn't make it to church on Sunday.

Nevertheless, on my arrival, I was surprised with a great news that one of our church members was delivered of a baby girl and the naming ceremony would take place on Thursday. We were however told that it would be a simple one at 8am, and not a loud ceremony. Left to me, I was not bothered by the time since I had proposed in my heart to attend and showed them love. So, I attended and was so glad to meet the beautiful newly born baby. The naming started and everything was going on well.

I was not however satisfied with the absence of photography. I believed no matter how early or simple it might be, there's a need for photography to capture the beautiful moments. I knew seeing the beautiful moments on screen or keeping the memories and showing the baby when she grows up will bring happiness to her and the parents.

As a lover of photography that I am, I just stood up to the task. Though I am not a professional photographer, I happily brought out my phone to capture the beautiful moment in the little way I could. Wow, photography does magic! Immediately I stood up with my phone camera, people became happier, repositioned their seats gorgeously as if they had long awaited the photograph session. People wore beautiful smiles and even anticipated more photographs with the couple and their baby after the naming ceremony.

Everything became so lively with people wanting to pose for camera. The joy on the couple's face was contagious. Even when I didn't hold the most expensive phone, I felt so proud of myself for contributing my own quota to the beautiful moment. I waited patiently till everyone showed in the pictures after the other. I gladly sent the pictures to the mother and gladly went home. I love photography!
