Good morning friends of the Hive Cuba community.

I hope all is well with you who read me.
In my last post when I talked about the beginnings of the book fair, I was going to tell you how everything was going on; the truth is that it was not possible. There were 4 consecutive days of celebration here in the capital of Artemisa, but for me they were days of hard work and it was quite difficult to sit down to write a post as it should be, so until now I can make a summary of what was the book fair in Artemisa.

The book and literature festival began with a gala at the Juarez cinema where students from the art school performed a choreography dedicated to Brazil, which was the guest country at this year's International Book Fair. From that moment on they began to sell books in the tents and there were also several tables where they sold handicrafts, all a beauty.

As they say, it is the festival of literature and knowledge, so there were not only book sales, during the four days various activities were taking place.
Conferences, literary and musical encounters, activities for children, the space of rumba and its feeling, which was very good, talked about the roots of rumba in our country and what it represents for Cuba as an identity. There were also exhibitions of plastic and photographic arts, presentation of several books of the Unicornio publishing house of authors of the province. In short, a program full of activities of all kinds and for all tastes and ages.

At various times during these four days I had the opportunity to return to one of my favorite places here in Artemisa which is the album coffee Central Park, where several literary Peñas were made in one of them called Dialogue out loud, I had the opportunity to talk with Fernando Rodriguez Sosa journalist and literary critic of our country and also with the prominent poet essayist and professor Virgilio Lopez Lemus, which I had the opportunity to interview in this his first visit to the capital of Artemisa and mentioned that he really liked being here and was grateful for the invitation.
Even today I feel the exhaustion of so many days of non-stop work with very little rest, and I feel that it will take me a while to recover, at least I have the satisfaction of the work done, which has pleased my superiors while I continue to strive to do better every day.

Although the fair could have been better, in the sense of the amount of books and a better organization of the activities, the people were able to enjoy several activities and obtain several books, some copies. For my part I could only get one of the books I wanted in physical format, since I was all the time covering the activities I did not have the chance to buy anything, but I still have the digital option.

That's all for today, I hope soon to have new stories to tell, thanks for coming this far.
See you in a future post.
