Traveling to Phumi Trakoun Park 🏞️ | Riding 🚲| House Touring 🏠, and Explore Animal Sculpture 🐏 🐴

Greeting everyone! Today is 7 January, the victory days of Cambodian. Before I take you to my blog, I would like to say Happy 7 January National Holiday.

As this month just started, my sister come and visit me in Takhmau town as to join my relative weddings as well. It is been two days, she stayed at my house and the wedding is end, so we have discussed to my aunt house where is located in Kampong Svay. After visiting her, I am curious and worry that she must be busy and hard to find time visiting me again, then I'm looking for a quality time to spend with my beloved sister before she heading back to her working place.

A trip to a new neighborhood park that I was aware of thanks to recommendations from my aunt. The park is known as Phumi Trakoun.

Location: Russeychroy Village, Svayproteal Commune, Saang District, Kandal Province, Cambodian.

Working Hours: Phumi Pka Trakoun is open from 8 am - 5 pm. Generally, from Monday to Sunday.

A variety of enjoyment and thrill may be found in Phumi Trakoun. At this location, you can engage in various eyesight and activities. Some creations also allow you to ride your own bike or rent one for a ride.

There are no age restrictions for cycling here, therefore visitors of all ages are welcome to do so!

Many tourists can be seen here having a good time conversing with other cyclists who have similar interests while riding their bikes through the beautiful scenery.

There are many various bike rentals available at the park, including duo bikes, adult bikes, and bikes for kids. Depending on the kind of bike you select, the cost varies from 200 to 5000 Riel each hour. There are no additional charges involved in hiring these bikes because the rental fee already includes the helmet and lock. If necessary, helmets can also be borrowed for no additional charge. However, in obvious as we see people didn't really prefer helmet at all, they might believe that the environment here is safety enough since no more vehicle allowed.

For me, riding bikes count as an exercise that helps to improve our health, especially for older. Obviously in my Takhmao town, my neighbors really interested in doing exercise as a group, they walk together and have a good communication which is also good for mental health because when we start a talk, it allows us to think about something related to funny stuff and sharing good experience.

Everybody wants to spend time with their loved ones when they are at such this natural park, but sometimes you might be unsure of where you should go. This summer, if you get the chance visiting the local park in your area where they have a road for bikers, I highly recommend that you should go and try this activities if you interested in riding bikes.

In order for visitors to fully enjoy their time here while riding their bikes, the park also offers them the chance to do so in safe areas with no traffic.

As the name suggests, Phumi Trakoun Park is a great place for people to ride bikes. Although it is not the only thing you can do in this park. But riding bikes here is definitely a great experience.

House Touring 🏠 🌿

There are seven house on touring in the Park — each one represents a different period of Khmer house revolution, which sounds so interesting to me.

By seeing the roof and the woods style, this residence is constructed in Khmer style.

As I ask my the one who is local people, they said the main aim of this initiation was to let people discover more about Khmer houses from different periods and learn about Cambodia architecture through their visiting.

The first thing you'll notice is the house itself, which was constructed out of wood and palm leaves and no colorful painting as this modern age at all. This style of building, I am surely it can take you back in time to a time when people didn't have a lot of money but still wanted to create a comfortable home for themselves and their families.

I feel like this is obviously a sample house exhibit for tourists to see, but it may also looks like there is used to be where people live at the same time.

All those shows how Cambodian house revolutionized from one era to another era, which the last one indicate the 21 century design.

In addition to that, there are other things that you can do here like walking around the park and enjoying the scenery of nature around you. There are also many shops inside this park, where visitors can buy souvenirs such as T-shirts and hats with logos of Beung Trokoun on them or even food for picnic such as Khmer food and drinks.

Duck Family 🦆🦆

After that we went to visit some animals sculpture like deer and horse, we continue to visit the lake where a group of duck are exists.

They walked slowly as a family, father, mother and daughter. I feel like they make the sound so strange this time.

We were also able to see some small rabbit but unfortunately they were not very friendly at all so we could not get close enough to take any photos.

We walked through the same wooden bridge. Obviously, it was just 2pm, it was enough time for us to continue our tour, but one of my relative hurry to do her job since she owns a business as a seller in the market, and we also have to go back quickly because we come here together, so we need to head back home together.
