LIL: Pictures From the Shore and Community for LMAC's Image Library

It is August and already I hear cicadas, which reminds me that summer is brief. The pictures I captured for LIL, the LMAC Image Library this week display some of the season's wonders. I found a jellyfish intact. There were surfers, and innumerable gulls, of different species which I cannot identify. These birds seemed united in one purpose: collect food and garbage that humans leave behind.

A fisherman offered the opportunity to take a few good shots. My son captured the end of the day as the last rays of sunshine were visible on the horizon.

My mom’s cat. The only one we have left. 2 of my babies died in the last 3 months at the age of 13. They were her babies

I hope you are enjoying the summer. I like to think of you hiking with your young ones and maybe negrito (did I get the name right?). So many unpleasant things in the world. Thinking about your hikes is a good place to rest my thoughts.

Some of our artists have already noticed it's very hard to find images in the #LIL not contributed by you. :-D
I haven't looked yet, but I'm still sure you're the one who added most images.

I can't do what you do, but I can be a team player. This project is something I care about and it has also enriched my life. All those walks! I never took pictures before. I see the world differently now. A new perspective.

Thank you, @wrestlingdesires. It is all the same cat, Eli. Eli is the family cat. My daughter takes care of him but I 'support' him. My daughter rescued him years ago from a car engine. He used to be quite a tough cat (can't you see it in his eyes?), but love has tamed him.
