LIL: Pictures From Summer for the LMAC Image Library
I hope everyone has enjoyed their summer so far. I have enjoyed it, as you may surmise from some of the pictures posted here. I have combined lovely outside excursions with a bit of serious indoor work.
One of the pictures I took today at the beach:
Sometime ago we started overhauling the house, mostly cosmetic updates. In the beginning my children assured me I just needed to provide leadership, but I soon proved age is no barrier to productivity. We're just about finished, and I've contributed a good piece, though not a full share.
Here's a picture of a room (almost done) where I've painted both floor and walls. Since this picture was taken, we've fixed the issue with the air conditioner, and we've removed the crates. We have a nice area rug to put down, and then that room is done.
Someone once said, I don't live to work, but work so that I can live better. Well, that's the principle that has guided me this summer. As you can see from some of the pictures I'm contributing today to the LMAC Library of Images, I've been out and about, enjoying the gifts nature has to offer.
I hope the pictures I'm contributing will be useful to Hive bloggers. Some have been posted in other communities, in previous blogs. Please remember, though, once these pictures are posted in the library, they will be in the public domain and anyone on Hive may use them. Summer usually is hard for us becaue of the hot weather, but this season it's going very good.

I myself am very fond of fishing like this and all our friends also go like this in winter and catch fish and cook and eat at night. It is so much fun. Making it yourself is a lot of fun with friends, especially since the weather is looking great and the water is great.
I think these fishers were definitely planning to eat their catch. The water was quite healthy and so the fish should be good. I feel sorry for the fish, when I see them floundering, so there's no fun in it for me.
