LIL: Pictures From Near and Far for the LMAC Image Gallery

Many of these pictures offered today to the LMAC Image Gallery, LIL, were given to me by my daughter. I asked her to snap photos I could use when she took a recent trip to Minnesota. She was going to collect a trailer and haul it back to New York. Her traveling companion was my sister, and neither of them had ever hauled a trailer before!

The trip home would have been challenging under any circumstances, but my sister and daughter had a special treat. The tail end of Hurricane Ivan lashed the ladies, their pickup and the van for all of a day. Somehow, everyone made it to New York safely, and I have the pictures to prove it :)

In addition to my daughter's pictures, I have some I took at a nature preserve on Long Island. Most of these have an autumnal look. The rest of the pictures were snapped in different communities in my area. These include Halloween decorations and anything that caught my eye. The squirrel on a fence, seven pigeons in a row, and suspicious cat where captured that way.

LIL is a rich resource for collage creators in the LMAC community (which just completed its #149th round!), but the images in the library have much wider potential. Anyone on Hive may use them at any time, and anyone on Hive may contribute to the gallery. The pictures are all in the public domain. Procedures for borrowing and contributing may be found here.
