Overflowing Jar of Memories @ Boracay Island Philippines
Hello World and Mabuhay Philippines! Good day my dearest Hive friends! I am happy to share with you our latest family travel to one of the main tourist destinations and hotspots in my country. Yes! Babatu-on family went to Boracay Island.
The central Philippines' Visayas area has the little island of Boracay. The island absolutely teems with travelers, primarily Filipinos, Koreans, and Chinese, being the most popular tourist destination in the Philippines.
White Beach, which stretches along the island's west coast, serves as the primary hub and is frequently referred to as one of the best beaches in the world. You could also spend your entire trip to Boracay lying on the sand thanks to the beach path that runs parallel to the shore; I almost did!
Station 1, the farthest north, is where the upscale resorts are located. White Beach is separated into three areas that bear the names of the historic boat stations. Station 2 is a major business hub with a ton of stores in the middle.
The third station from the south is significantly more tranquil and laid-back. Angol, a community that is even more laid back, is located just south of Station 3. Some claim that the only place that still resembles "Old Boracay," before it became so developed, is Angol.
We stayed in AJ travelers Inn, for me it was a good place to stay because it was clean and cheap plus the accommodation staff was very polite and kind to share with us some tips about how to spend quality time in Boracay.
The nice thing about Boracay is that you can do absolutely nothing else and still feel completely satisfied because the beach is so fantastic — the sand is so fine and white, the beachfront is so long, the scenery is so stunning, and the water is so warm and turquoise.
We did the Island Hopping tour which was pretty much resounding and relaxing. We got to explore the surrounding islands and know more about their unique and intricate attractions. One of the islands that really amazed us was Puka Island because of its Virgin beauty. We also enjoyed taking a dip in their richly profound coral reef waters.
Finally, we did some water activities like parasailing, kayaking, and water paddling. Parasailing was a bit scary because of the height but once you get used to it, you just wanna go for more. Kayaking was a breeze while water paddling needed more balance on my part. My son loves all the water activities, one water activity that we miss was helmet diving, because of the weather condition and the strong current that was difficult for us to handle. To put it into a jar of memories, our Boracay family escapade would simply overflow with breathtaking experiences of sceneries, friendships, culture, love, and bond!
I do encourage everyone to please visit our country and help our economy boom again. Surely you will have all the good vibes and love wherever you are in our country: the Philippines! All Pictures are mine and captured by Oppo Reno 4.
