Yes, here in our region we call them macetas. I am from the Philippines (^_^)
Philippines 👍🏻 maybe is because you have a Spanish influence, I have read and watch on TV that a lot of people in the Philippines speak Spanish and also have Spanish names and last names.
Yes, the influence is huge, I think more than 90% of Filipino names and last names were of Spanish origin.
